Fight between Mr and Mrs Lim
< >“Mummy, can I go down to the playground?” I asked my mother. She nodded her head and I had to bring my playful brother along. I let out a sigh as I hated to bring my brother with me. He always liked to jump about whenever I brought him anywhere. I always hoped that there was a hole that I could hide my face in. When we reached the playground, dashed to the monkey bar just like a monkey would.

< >“Everything is my fault! What about you?” a furious voice could be heard and it came from the second floor. My younger brother and I looked up with curiosity as we wanted to know what had happened. I could not believe what I had just saw. It was Mr and Mrs Lim quarrelling with each other. Both of them were very polite and they did not quarrel before and that was the first time. Both Mr and Mrs Lim grabbed any weapon that was near them and they were about to hit each other. I knew that I had to nip in the bud. Immediately, my brother and I went to the second floor. Upon reaching there, outside of Mr Lim house, was surrounded with people. My brother and I squeezed into crowd and we knocked on the door continuously but no one answered. Oh no! Mr and Mrs Lim might have faint inside! What should I do?

< >Then, a brilliant idea struck into my mind. I asked my brother to stay there while I went home to tell my parents what was happening. After hearing the bad news, my parents and I went to Mr Lim house immediately. My father knocked on the door but no one answered again. He moved back three steps and used his legs and forced the door opened. When we went in, red blood was on the floor. Mr and Mrs Lim were lying unconsciously on the floor. They were sent to the hospital immediately and my parents, my brother and I followed the ambulance.

< >Mr and Mrs Lim came around after few hours. They were interviewed by some police that came not too long ago. Later, we learnt that why the two polite couples were fight because they found out that their son was smoking. Mr Lim said that their son learnt smoking from Mr Lim, but Mr Lim thought that it was Mrs Lim fault for not teaching him well. Suddenly, Mr Lim’s son rushed into the room. He was scolded by his parents for smoking. Their son promised that he would not smoke any more and he would turn over a new leaf. After that incident, Mr Lim’s son did not smoke anymore as he did want the same thing to happen again.
